Questions & answers

How buying, licenses, trials and accounts work. Anything else: hello@earlbalai.com.

Buying

Is it a subscription?

No. Paid apps are a one-time purchase, and every update to that major version is included. There is nothing to cancel.

How many computers can I use an app on?

A license activates on several computers — the number is on each app's page, usually three — in any mix of Mac and Windows. Moving to a new machine? Remove the old one from your account page or inside the app, then activate the new one.

Can I try before buying?

Yes. Every paid app has a full-featured free trial; the download is the complete app. No card, no account. When the trial ends the app keeps your data and asks for a key.

What happens right after I pay?

Your license key appears on the confirmation page and arrives by email within seconds. Paste it into the app under Settings → License.

Refunds?

If an app is not for you, email hello@earlbalai.com within 14 days of buying and you get your money back, no questions asked. A refund deactivates the license.

Which payment methods and currencies?

Checkout is handled by Stripe: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link and local methods depending on where you are. Prices are in USD; your bank converts. Local taxes may be added at checkout where required.

Buying for a team or company?

Email hello@earlbalai.com for multi-seat licenses and invoices in your company name. Invoices for every purchase are also available from your account page.

Your account

How do I sign in?

With the email you bought with, at Your account. There is no password: we email you a link that signs you in for 30 days.

I lost my key.

Sign in to your account — every key you own is listed there, with a button to email them all to you again.

Where are my receipts and invoices?

On your account page under Purchases: a receipt and a PDF invoice for each order, plus a link into the billing portal to update your details or add a VAT number.

I bought with a different email address.

Sign out and sign in with that address — licenses belong to the email they were bought with. If you cannot access it anymore, email support with your receipt and we will move it.

Privacy & security

Do the apps track me?

No, unless you opt in. Apps may offer a switch for anonymous usage statistics; it is off by default and never includes personal data, file names or server addresses.

Are downloads safe?

Every installer is signed, and updates are verified against the developer's public key before they install — an update that does not verify is refused.

What does the license check send?

An opaque device id (a hash — not a serial number or MAC address), the computer name, OS version and app version, about once a week. Apps work offline in between.
